Welcome to SabrinaSwings!

I am a happily married swinger in suburban Minneapolis. My husband and I have been married for 20+ years and exploring various aspects of consensual non-monogamy since the beginning. Sabrina Swings is the place where I share our experiences. The blog is part true erotic swinging stories, but mostly philosophical discussions of some of the lifestyle's most common questions. How do I get into swinging? How do I talk my spouse into swinging? How do I know if I should swing? Do swingers get jealous? How often do swingers have sex? Where can I find a swinging playmate? Hope you enjoy!

Sharing New Discoveries by Sabrina SwingsThis post is a little bit different than my typical blog entry.  I found a new treasure today online and I wanted to share it with my readers.  There are quite a few links here, hope you enjoy all!

I’m a regular reader of the blogs over at Life on the Swingset.  I enjoy Cooper’s outlook on all things non-monogamous, not to mention his incredibly sexy voice. (I may or may not occasionally enjoy some Mr. Hitachi time while listening to an episode of the Life on the Swingset podcasts.)  Today, when I visited the site, I came across this article by Dr. Ziggy:  The History of the Vibrator.  While not an in depth, heavily researched historical tome, it’s a fun read and turned me on to a new play that sounds interesting as well:  In The Next Room (or the vibrator play) by Sarah Ruhl.

I’d never run across Dr. Ziggy online, and was delighted to find another intellectual social scientist studying sexuality and specifically the swinging lifestyle.  I didn’t have a chance to explore everything at Dr. Ziggy’s Sexuality Institute, but I bookmarked the site and plan to spend some time reading up on the research he’s done and that which he references from other academics.  He’s also earned a spot in my Sabrina’s Favorite Links List!

And so ends the blog entry where Sabrina displays her true nerdy, academic self!
